I remember Jackie as a wonderful girl with a bubbly personality. We used to ride back to East Carolina together. She was very sweet and I was saddened to hear that she had passed away.
In talking with Dan Reeves, Jackie's brother-in-law, I understand that Jackie's breast cancer metastisized to her brain and she had a really hard time at the end. I was so sorry to know that so late because I would have certainly gone over to help Jerry and the girls in any way I could. Jackie always had a sweet smile and a kind word for everyone she met. We all could take a lesson from her in that relm. I have lived so close to them for low these many years and our paths have never crossed, it makes me so sad to think about it.
